Jane Holicka

Jane Holicka, DVM, M. Biotech, brings over 15 years of international experience in managing the complete lifecycle of feed, food, and dietary supplements. Beginning her career as a veterinarian, Jane developed an extensive understanding of food production from its origins, enhancing her future expertise in manufacturing, sourcing, and retailing.

She has collaborated with both large and small enterprises in Canada and USA, including major retailers like Sobey’s and Walmart. Her roles have encompassed global sourcing and private brands, as well as establishing effective supplier management and FSVP and PCP import programs. Jane’s experience includes managing quality and safety on production floors, facilitating audits and inspections, and conducting customer and certification audits, which have honed her comprehensive expertise.

Jane has made significant contributions to the development of Canadian food regulations, policies, and standards, serving as an advisor for the Retail Council of Canada,  Canadian Association of Importers and  Exporters; and as a consultant for the National Cattle Feeders Association.

She is renowned for her ability to simplify complex requirements into practical, actionable programs for her clients.
